Who are You, Are You Above the Law, What's Your Reason? Furious Arati Speaks His Mind On Citizen TV

The feud between Simba Arati and Sylvanus Osoro has rekindled this time away from fists witnessed at the former Kisii deputy Governor's father's funeral in 2018 where Raila and Ruto were chief guests to now guns and arrows.

The two come from Kisii with Sylvanus being a Parliament Member and the Majority Whip in the National Assembly, Simba being the County boss and the Governor.

Events leading to the Nyakembene tussle on the 8th of January 2024 were well explained by both parties with Osoro claiming that he obtained permission on the 3rd of January for the event on the 8th in South Mugirango which was about the construction of Nyakembene road.

On the other hand, Arati was also there on the same day but with a different function which happened to be issuing bursaries to students.

Arati's mid-morning testament on Citizen TV with Mashirima Kapombe's show called 'Mwenge wa Kaunti' has painted Osoro negatively, for starters, slander, abuse of power, etc.

His version of the story told today is as follows.

"Mashirima, we were having a peaceful meeting with the people of South Mugirango, in fact, I had earlier on issued to three wards and Nyakembene was the fourth. While in the process, I saw people running and later on sounds of guns renting the air.

Later on, I saw four government vehicles where people alighted and then shot at people with guns and arrows.

Osoro disturbed a peaceful meeting and my question to you is Who are you? The other day Mumias East MP was arrested over a slap to a fellow leader, why not arrest Osoro, is he above the law? People were hurt, even a boy who brought me a chair was injured in the ear.

What was your reason? Sometimes we are good and I know we have no issues but I know some people in the government are using you, just surrender to the nearest station and issue your statement."

What do you think about this behaviour between honourable?
