Papa Wa Roma Kitu Gani, We No Longer worship Humans, Natembeya Deconstruct NA Speaker Wetangula

George Natembeya, the governor of Trans Nzoia, dismantled Moses Wetang'ula for referring to himself as 'Papa Wa Roma'. Natembeya contended that, due to his dual marriage, the Speaker of the National Assembly was ineligible to serve as a pope. He charged Wetang'ula with using these titles to intimidate people and incite fear in the hearts of vulnerable people.

The governor of Trans Nzoia, George Natembeya, is vehemently against Speaker Moses Wetang'ula's choice of title and seeks to enlighten the 'Bukusu community' to be aware of the main titles people give to themselves.

Pope Francis, who is the head of the Roman Catholic Church and resides in Vatican City, is the sole "papa," according to Governor Natembeya. The governor reminded the speaker that a pope is not married and advised him to desist from using that position to court admiration.

"In our culture, we ceased worshipping human beings. Do you want us to tremble and bow down when you pass? Papa wa Roma kitu gani? We only have one pope. Kenya has only one pope. You call yourself Pope, and you're married to two wives, that is a mistake.(Unajiita pope na uko na bibi wawili, hiyo ni makosa bwana). I am a Catholic and only know one pope. Do not give yourself titles to threaten us. We will not fear you," said Natembeya
