US Goes To War With Syria and Iraq With The Following Aim On Iran
Last Sunday's attack was a huge blow to the American fraternity and a shame to one of the World’s greatest nations in terms of technological superiority, how didn’t they see it? Was it a glitch, or did someone sleep over one of the main tasks to keep vigil, especially in enemy combat regions?
Well, according to US military officials in Sunday's Jordan base attack, the enemy drone was mistaken as one of theirs which unfortunately claimed the lives of three promising US soldiers and utterly destroyed command and intelligence centres.
The drone attack came amidst heavy influence and support of the powerful West Nation to Israel in wiping out terrorist elements in the Hamas government in Gaza.
White House came out to confirm that armed groups within Syria, Iraq and Jordan are the ones carrying out terrorist activities in the Middle East and are hugely and majorly backed by Iran.
As of last week's drone attack, an Islamic armed group based in Iraq claimed responsibility for the Jordan and Syrian border attack leaving three families based in the USA in mourning and many others injured and in critical condition.
As of Friday 2, 2024, the White House confirmed the launching of air strikes in Syria and Iraq as retaliation to the mess caused by Iranian-backed forces in last Sunday's drone attack.
The waves of attacks according to the Pentagon are directed to both countries and a total of 85 air strikes were carried out targeting Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps Quds Force and Allied Groups.
According to US security officials, it is meant to give a warning and lesson to Iran to never meddle in terrorism, especially in backing armed groups.
The strikes come after Biden received the remains of three soldiers killed in Jordan and once again, the entire nation has united in responding to their enemies amidst a tight campaign in the country.
The President's speech was as follows:
“The U.S. does not seek conflict in the Middle East or the World, our response began today, it will continue at times and places of our choosing, if you attack one of us, we will respond.”
Asian continent in my view has become volatile in recent days according to what has transpired in terms of conflict and evident war with one another, it was Ukraine and Russia the other day, it escalated to Israel and Gaza now the United States is once again in the region with its might after just leaving Afghanistan the other day.
What should happen as to leverage such conflicts and bring about lasting peace?
What will it take? Do you think this new wave of response from the West will escalate and appear similar to what happened in Afghanistan in 2002?
Will the superpower attack Iran?
According to Marwan Bishara, Aljazeera Political Analyst, all these might have been brought upon as a result of direct and undivided support of the U.S. to Israel against defenceless Palestinians.
Well, according to you, what are your views?
