You Are An Embarrassment To Kakamega: Barasa and Khalwale Continue Shame Politics In Butere Funeral

Former Kakamega Governor Wycliffe Ambetsa Oparanya has lost a brother, the eldest in a family of five. The funeral is being held in Butere, where he will be laid to rest. Friends and family have converged, including the former premier and party leader, Raila Amollo Odinga who leads a delegation of ODM party elected members, including James Orengo, Paul Otuma and other leaders like Wajackoya and Kalonzo.

While giving his speech, the County boss expressed his fury over the senator for failing the county countless times including recent county allocations which according to the governor, the senator voted 'No' to deny county resources which could have benefitted even his constituency.

"You are an embarrassment to Kakamega, nothing good comes from you, you've let us all down." Barasa to Bonny Khalwale.

The funeral process goes on amidst a recent crisis in Kenya over general reforms led by Kenya's youngest generation which popularly goes by the name 'GenZ"

Saturday marked the day of the burial of Tom Ojienda's mother in Nyakach, Kisumu County. All and sundry thronged the ceremony to pay last respects to the Senator's loving mother. Among the mourners were, ODM Secretary General and Nairobi's senator, Edwin Sifuna, his Kericho counterpart, Aaron Cheruiyot together with local mourners.
