I am not Making your Points Little, They are Little in Themselves, Sifuna Discredits Mukurwe-ini MP

Image
Recently, Kenyans had a controversial bill imposed on them (housing levy) whereby, they were to contribute 1.5% of their salaried income. Still, this levy was subjected to the courts, where it was stopped pending conditions highlighted by the High Court. The tax, as mentioned earlier, is one of many that were introduced in the Finance Bill 2023, alongside electronic agricultural tax and industrial sugar importation tax, among a few that I will discuss, and that was discussed earlier today on State of the Nation by Citizen’s celebrated news anchor Trevor Ombija. The panellists in the morning show were the deputy majority leader in the National Assembly, Owen Baya; Mukurwe-ini MP, John Kaguchia; and lastly, Nairobi vocal and influential senator, Edwin Sifuna. They were in for a state-of-the-nation discussion. It was Kaguchia’s turn to speak.  According to him, the government is doing all it takes to reduce the importation of certain commodities to spur local production. For instance,...

The Most Predictable Human Being Ever Lived, Miguna Refers A Leading Politician To a Zombie

Image
We are all privy to our country's political discourse, her avid politicians, epic and grasping men of politics, and what they do in the 'mud' just to remain afloat or relevant in the face of Kenyans. Miguna Miguna is such an enigmatic person whose loyalty in the realm of politics has always remained to himself, having trusted one and, in the end, ending up regretting putting up with him, (Raila Odinga). Events leading to the 2017 general elections left Miguna homeless and at war with a once reputable ally now turned a formidable foe due to teaming up with a 'despot government, as he usually referred to that regime, what was called a 'handshake'. In his tweet today on the 'X account' formally Twitter, he said exactly the following: "My Lesson 101 to Kabando and other mesmerized cows. Conman @RailaOdinga is the most predictable human being who ever lived, having done the same thing-betraying his friends and supporters—since 1997! The only thing there ...

Papa Wa Roma Kitu Gani, We No Longer worship Humans, Natembeya Deconstruct NA Speaker Wetangula

Image
George Natembeya, the governor of Trans Nzoia, dismantled Moses Wetang'ula for referring to himself as 'Papa Wa Roma'. Natembeya contended that, due to his dual marriage, the Speaker of the National Assembly was ineligible to serve as a pope. He charged Wetang'ula with using these titles to intimidate people and incite fear in the hearts of vulnerable people. The governor of Trans Nzoia, George Natembeya, is vehemently against Speaker Moses Wetang'ula's choice of title and seeks to enlighten the 'Bukusu community' to be aware of the main titles people give to themselves. Pope Francis, who is the head of the Roman Catholic Church and resides in Vatican City, is the sole "papa," according to Governor Natembeya. The governor reminded the speaker that a pope is not married and advised him to desist from using that position to court admiration. "In our culture, we ceased worshipping human beings. Do you want us to tremble and bow down when you ...

"RIP Kenyatta: Twitter's Viral Tribute Unleashes Waves of Remembrance"

Image
The fourth president of the country left Kenya's most important and prominent platform not too long ago. Given the powerful machinery supporting him at the time, it still surprises many that his favourite option never reached the top. The entire Kenyan population was astonished, as well as the president and his front-runner, when the then 10-year-old deputy president—once the president's ally but now a political foe—made sure the win arrived home as soon as possible. Many found the news distressing, but Kenyans had to lie in a made bed. William was elected as the Republic of Kenya's fifth president. Over time, he has brought about several important changes to the nation's administrative framework. These include restructuring and operational requirements for certain institutions, privatizing others, and changing some of their titles. The popular hashtag "RIP KENYATTA" was sparked by Kenyatta's recent comments during which he mentioned while attending Amos K...

US Goes To War With Syria and Iraq With The Following Aim On Iran

Image
Last Sunday's attack was a huge blow to the American fraternity and a shame to one of the World’s greatest nations in terms of technological superiority, how didn’t they see it? Was it a glitch, or did someone sleep over one of the main tasks to keep vigil, especially in enemy combat regions? Well, according to US military officials in Sunday's Jordan base attack, the enemy drone was mistaken as one of theirs which unfortunately claimed the lives of three promising US soldiers and utterly destroyed command and intelligence centres. The drone attack came amidst heavy influence and support of the powerful West Nation to Israel in wiping out terrorist elements in the Hamas government in Gaza. White House came out to confirm that armed groups within Syria, Iraq and Jordan are the ones carrying out terrorist activities in the Middle East and are hugely and majorly backed by Iran. As of last week's drone attack, an Islamic armed group based in Iraq claimed responsibility for the ...

The Pokomo Elder is Lying, Sifuna Upsets Colleague In A Morning Tv Show

Image
It has gained popularity over its flexibility and ability to land in the most influential and adept politicians where some of them speak fiercely and fearlessly over grave matters that the majority tend to look the other way. Thursday morning Citizen's TV show, 'State of the Nation’, saw former deputy speaker Farah Maalim, Danstan Mungatana and ODM secretary general Edwin Sifuna gracing the floors of Trevor’s favourite media station. They were in for an array of issues that are strife among Kenyans especially the latest political developments that have seen the Executive tussle with the Judiciary over delays of the former reaching their target agenda painting them as exercising Judicial overreach. In the recent days that have passed, Kenyans have been made aware of the government’s decision and determination to construct houses and even further to send police to Haiti which for instance, have been stopped by the High Court. Discussion inside the royal media house was highly cha...
